Step by step
Take a bank transfer
When the customer has paid into your bank account, record the amount received and the bank's reference. Kila keeps the reference on the payment and the receipt.
Some customers, often businesses, pay by bank transfer. Record it with the bank’s reference for the transfer: Kila keeps it on the payment and prints it on the receipt.
Tap Charge, then Bank transfer
Kila asks for the Amount received and the Bank reference.
Type the bank reference
As it appears on the transfer, in Bank reference. Take bank transfer stays grey until there is one.
Check the amount received
Amount received starts at the amount due. If more came in, type what arrived: see What if.
Tap Take bank transfer
Kila completes the sale and says Paid in full by bank transfer.
Check the reference on the receipt
The receipt shows Bank transfer with the reference you typed.

- Take a card payment
- Sell on credit: when a customer pays later, against their account.
Next: a bank transfer is not cash. Your shift lists it under Taken by method, apart from the cash you count when you close your shift.
