Step by step
Split, move or merge a bill
Split a bill into equal shares or by seat, move items or the whole table, join two tables, or give a bill to another waiter, without serving anything twice.
A bill follows its table until it is paid. When customers pay separately, change tables or join another party, or the waiter goes home, change the bill instead of starting a new one: nothing is served or taken from stock twice.

Open the bill
On the Table plan, tap the table.
Tap Split, and say how many guests
Kila explains: “KES 1,200.00 in equal shares. Each guest pays their share their own way; it is one order.” Set How many guests with + and −; Kila shows about how much each pays.
Tap Take 3 payments
Kila opens Pay Terrace 2 (Bill 83) in 3 shares with each guest’s share, Guest 1, Guest 2 and Guest 3. Take each share the way that guest pays.
Split by seat

Items without a seat stay here.” Tap Split: Kila says, for example, Split into 4 bills, one per seat, and each seat’s bill shows on the floor, such as Table 10 · seat 2 (Bill 76).

- Move table: the customers moved. Choose a free table. Kila says Moved to Terrace 1, and a bill named after its table takes the new table’s name.
- Merge bills: two tables join. Choose the bill to join: “Every item moves onto that bill; this one closes.”
- Give to a waiter: “It stays at its table; the other person takes it on. Both names go in the log.” Kila says, for example, Terrace 1 (Bill 79) is now Kevin Ouma’s.

Needs a manager
The waiter whose bill it is gives it to you, or a floor supervisor gives it to you from the same bill.
