Sell the car washes on your own shift at the car wash till, from the till's Car wash tab. No discounts or refunds.
A station’s car wash sells its washes at a till of its own. Kila describes the role: “Takes car wash jobs and sells the wash on their own shift. Nothing else at the till.” At Highway Petrol Station, Dennis Musyoka runs the car wash till.
When you sign in

Your day

- Sell each wash. Tap the Car wash tab (1) and the wash, such as Body wash, saloon, then Charge KES 300.00 (2) and take the payment. Kila shows Sale S-… complete.
- Close your shift at the end of the day: count the drawer and submit the count. See Close a shift.
The Car wash tab has the station’s washes: Body wash, saloon, Full wash, saloon (body and interior), Full wash, SUV or pick-up, Matatu wash, Engine wash, Truck wash and Motorbike wash. Each is a Service, so it has no stock to count.

Needs a manager
- Discounts. Open a line in the cart and Kila says so: “Your role cannot give discounts on this item.” Ask the station manager.
- Returns and refunds. Your till has no Return: a manager refunds a wash.
Common questions

Can I give a regular customer a cheaper wash? No. Your discount limit is 0%, so the line says “Your role cannot give discounts on this item.” The station manager can.
Who changes the prices of the washes? Someone who manages the prices, such as the station manager. The till sells at the price it shows.
