A caterer takes each event in as a job with its date, guests, venue and menu, and runs it from the events board, under the food safety rules.

A caterer cooks and serves for weddings, meetings, funerals and parties. Kila runs each event as a job, from the booking and the deposit to the day itself.

What is special

Each event is a job. In Take a job in, an event has its Event date, Guests, Venue, the kind of Event, the Service (buffet, plated, packed meals or drop-off), the Serving time, the Menu and Dietary needs.

Food safety rules apply from the start (below).
An Event coordinator takes the bookings, quotes the menus and takes the deposits.

A caterer’s home page leaves out the cards for parts and technicians, and its set-up list has no labour rates. There is no demo caterer.
