Daycare
A daycare bills by the month, checks each child in and out at the door, and keeps the day sheet the parent sees.
A daycare or creche looks after babies and young children by the day. Kila runs it on the same screens as a school, with the daycare’s own words and the door at the centre of the day.
What is special

- Rooms, months and parents. Classes are Rooms, such as Babies (6 to 18 months); fees are billed by the month (Bill a month, for October 2026); guardians are Parents.
- Check-in at the door. Caregivers start on Check-in: each child in with who brought them, out only to a parent or an adult on their list, and the room’s children against the caregivers needed. See Check children in and out.
- The day sheet. Meals, naps, nappies, the mood and a note for the parent, kept through the day.
- A sibling discount. Little Steps Daycare gives 10% off for a second child, set in School settings.
