Switch on more features and change your plan

An owner switches on the optional modules your plan includes under Business profile. Plan and modules shows your plan, its limits and what it leaves out; Kila changes the plan when you ask.

Kila starts your business with the modules it needs for the way you trade. Your plan may include a few more that stay off until you want them, and other plans include more again.

  1. Open Administration › Business profile

Under Modules: “What the Shop profile gives this business, within your plan.” The modules you already use say In use.

  2. Find Optional

“Off until an owner switches them on. Modules they need come with them.” On the Starter plan, a shop can switch on Appointments, Insights and Compliance calendar. The others say Not in your plan.

  3. Tap the module's switch

Kila says Switched on: “The menu updates straight away.” The Compliance calendar adds Compliance to the menu. Switch it off the same way.

Only an owner can switch modules on and off.

  1. Open Administration › Plan and modules

“What your subscription includes, how much of it you use, and which modules are switched on.” Current plan shows the plan, its price (“a month, plus VAT”) and, during the free trial, when the Trial ends.

Plan and modules: Current plan Starter, on Trial, billed monthly, KES 2,500 a month plus VAT, with the trial end date (1), and Limits and usage (2): branches, users, tills, products and sales per month against the plan's limits.Plan and modules: Current plan Starter, on Trial, billed monthly, KES 2,500 a month plus VAT, with the trial end date (1), and Limits and usage (2): branches, users, tills, products and sales per month against the plan's limits.
  2. Check Limits and usage

“Effective limits for this business, from the plan and any agreed changes”: branches, users, tills, products and sales a month, each with what is left, such as “1 left on your plan.”

  3. Read Your modules and Not on your plan

Your modules lists what is switched on: “Select a module to see its features.” Not on your plan lists the rest and the plans that have each one: “For information only. These are not available to this business; ask Kila if you would like one added.”

There is no button for it: Kila changes your plan. Email support@kilabiashara.co.ke with the plan you want. The change then shows under Recent module changes (“Made by Kila on request, by trials ending, or by your plan.”) and Subscription history, and what you pay under Kila invoices.
