Wines & spirits

A wines and spirits shop runs as a shop with the Alcohol rules, an ID check and licensed hours at every till, and Tots for spirits sold by the tot from an opened bottle.

A wines and spirits shop sells beer, wine and spirits by the bottle, to adults, in the hours of its licence. Kila runs it as a shop with the Alcohol rules, and gives it Tots for spirits poured and sold by the tot.

  • The Alcohol rules at every till. Before any payment for a sale with alcohol, the till asks the cashier to check the customer’s ID. Outside the licensed hours, and after the licence’s expiry date, the till refuses alcohol and sells the rest: see Selling alcohol.
  • Tots. Inventory › Tots shows the “Bottles opened into tots, and what each tot earns.” At the top is your tot size, such as Our tot: 30 ml, with Change (1). Each spirit sold by the tot (2) shows its price a tot, the tots left in the open bottle, the bottles it is Poured from, what each tot costs, what a bottle’s tots earn against what the bottle cost, and who last opened a bottle. Sell a bottle by the tot (3) and Open a bottle start from here, and the page has two more tabs, Opened bottles and Report.
  • A home page card for tots: Tots this week: sold, bottles opened and over-poured.
Tots at Baraka Wines and Spirits, Kilimani: Our tot: 30 ml with Change (1), the Highland Reserve 12 Year Whisky tot at KES 300 a tot with the tots left, the bottles it is poured from and what its tots earn against the bottle (2), and Sell a bottle by the tot (3).Tots at Baraka Wines and Spirits, Kilimani: Our tot: 30 ml with Change (1), the Highland Reserve 12 Year Whisky tot at KES 300 a tot with the tots left, the bottles it is poured from and what its tots earn against the bottle (2), and Sell a bottle by the tot (3).
