Steps differ for General businesses.
Many businesses take M-Pesa through a till, a paybill or a phone with no connection to Kila. Statements lets you upload the M-Pesa and bank statements and check them, line by line, against what Kila recorded: the balance, where money came from and where it went, the charges, the payments that repeat, and anything nobody recorded.

Where to find it

Statement files are read once and not kept; only their lines are. Personal transactions are shown only to the owner and the people they allow.
Switch it on

A producer has it as soon as its plan does; every other kind of business switches it on under Administration › Business profile. See Switch a module on.

A General business switches it on in one step: on Business profile, under What your business does, switch on Insights and statements, which also switches on Insights. See Add what your business does.
On the Business, Growth and Enterprise plans. Enterprise is arranged with Kila’s sales team.
