Step by step
Set what proves a delivery
Choose the proof your drivers can take at the door, the receiver's name, a delivery code, a photo or a signature, and which of them every delivery needs.
Proof of delivery settles the question “did it arrive?”. Kila offers four kinds: the Receiver’s name, a Photo, a Signature and a Delivery code the receiver is sent when the booking is made. You choose which the driver can give, and which every delivery needs before the driver can confirm it.
Open the settings
Open Sell › Bookings and dispatch and tap the Settings tab: “These start from your business profile. What you change here applies to this business only.”
Tick the proof the driver can give
Under Proof of delivery and billing, in Proof the driver can give, and what every delivery needs, tick each kind of proof your drivers may take: Receiver’s name, Photo, Signature and Delivery code.
Tick Required for what every delivery needs
Beside each one you offer, tick Required if no delivery may be confirmed without it.
Tap Save
Kila says Saved. From the next delivery, the driver’s phone asks for what you require.
The driver gives the proof
On the driver’s phone, Proof of delivery names anything missing, such as Needed: photo., and Confirm delivery stays grey until they give it. See Deliver on your phone.
Read the proof on the booking
Open a delivered booking from the board: Proof of delivery shows who received it, when, whether the code was checked, and the photo and signature, such as Received by Fatma Katana · 30 Oct 2026, 20:15 · code checked.
Not available yet
The delivery code goes to the receiver by SMS, and SMS is in test mode: the message is in Kila’s log but no SMS leaves Kila until an SMS provider is connected. Until then, read the code to the receiver or the sender when you book, or give them the waybill, which carries it.
The receiver gives the wrong code

The driver has no Delivery code box
Link to this section: The driver has no Delivery code boxYour business does not offer the code: Delivery code is not ticked in the settings. Safari Car Hire works this way: its chauffeurs take the guests’ name, and a signature when the guest gives one.
Needs a manager
Only the owner and administrators see Settings.
- Deliver on your phone: the driver’s side, step by step.
- Book a parcel: the code is sent when the parcel is booked.
