Fixing a problem
Only … of … at …
You are selling more of a product than Kila has in stock at your branch, and your business does not sell below zero. Sell what Kila has, and have the stock checked or moved to your branch.
What it means
Link to this section: What it meansKila keeps a count of every product at each branch. You tried to add one more than that count, and your business does not let the till sell below zero, so the till stops at what Kila has. If you type a bigger quantity on the line, the line says so: … available at this branch.
What to do
Link to this section: What to do- Sell the number Kila has: the message gives it.
- If there are more on the shelf than Kila says, finish the sale with what Kila has and tell a supervisor: the stock count for your branch needs correcting.
- If another branch has it, ask for some to be sent to yours.
Needs a manager
A storekeeper, branch manager or the owner corrects the count with an adjustment or a stock count, or receives the delivery that has not been recorded yet. See Adjust stock, Count stock and Transfer stock between branches.
If it keeps happening
Link to this section: If it keeps happeningGoods sold that Kila says are not there usually came in without being recorded. Record each delivery when it arrives, and count the products that keep running out.
- Find a product: what the till shows when stock is short.
- See your stock on hand: what Kila has at each branch.
- Change quantities and sell by weight: quantities on a line.
