What it means

Approving a transfer reserves the stock at the branch that sends it, so nobody sells it while it waits for the van. The sending branch has less of the product free than the transfer asks for. The transfer’s lines show how much is free there, under Free at and the branch’s name.

What to do

1. Read the free quantity on the transfer’s line.
2. Tap Cancel on this transfer, and ask again for a quantity the sending branch has free.
3. Or leave it as it is until more stock arrives at the sending branch, then tap Approve and reserve again.

If it keeps happening

Stock that is reserved for other transfers or orders is not free. If the shelf has more than Kila shows, the count at the sending branch needs correcting: see Count stock.
