Home care
A home care service plans its carers' visits to patients at home and follows them through the day, on the clinic's screens with Home visits switched on.
A home care service: carers and nurses visit patients at home, for nursing, wound care, medicines and personal care. Kila runs it on the clinic’s screens, with Home visits switched on: “Planned visits at home, carers on their phones.” No demo business runs as a home care service: Afya Bora Medical Centre has Home visits switched on and shows the same screens.
What is special
Link to this section: What is special- The day’s home visits. Clinic › Home visits: “The day’s visits at home, who goes, and what was done.” The day shows the Visits, those Done and In progress, those Late (over 30 min) (1) and those with No carer. Each visit shows its time, the patient, where they live, the service, how long it takes, the carer, and when it started and finished.
- A late visit. Choose the carer who goes, or mark it Missed (2) or Cancel it.
- Whose visits. Every carer shows everyone’s visits and My visits your own. Plan visits is where the visits are planned.
- The settings. Under Clinic office › Clinic settings, Dental and home care: A home visit is late after (minutes), 30 at Afya Bora Medical Centre; Carers’ phone position, Not kept or Kept at the start and the finish of a visit; and the Home visit tasks, one a line: Vital signs, Medicines given, Wound care, Personal care and bathing, Meals and fluids, Exercises and mobility.
