Your role
Auditor
You read every record in the business, from the tills to the books and the audit log, and change nothing.
Kila describes the role as “Read-only access to records and the audit log.” You can open almost everything the owner can, to check it, and Kila gives you nothing to change it with.
When you sign in
Link to this section: When you sign inKila opens your home page with the whole business’s figures: “Here is how Soko Fresh Mini-Mart is doing”, starting with Sales today against the same day last week (1). There is no Approvals in your menu and no card of approvals waiting: nothing waits for your decision. Insights (2), the books and the Audit log (3) are in your menu.
Your day
Link to this section: Your day- Start from the audit log. Administration › Audit log keeps “Every change to money, stock and access, who made it and when. Entries cannot be edited or deleted.” Narrow it by person (1) and by action (2), and take it away with Export CSV (3). See Find an action in the audit log.
- Check the tills and the cash: the shifts and the trading day under Sales, and how cash-ups work: How shifts and cash-ups work.
- Check the stock: Check stock movements, See what your stock is worth and See stock as of a date.
- Check the money and the books: Money › Reconciliation, the expenses and Books: Read your profit and loss. And the customers who owe: Find a customer and see their history.
