Give products their KRA item codes

eTIMS reports every product with its KRA item classification code. Give each category a code, or each product its own, and find the products still without one.

“eTIMS reports every product with its KRA item classification code. Give each category a code, and products their own where they differ.” Check this page whenever you add products, so none is left without a code.

Not available yet

Kila is not connected to KRA yet. Receipts carry test numbers and say “eTIMS test mode - not a valid fiscal receipt”. What works today: products get their codes, and every sale is confirmed by Kila’s eTIMS test service, not by KRA. See Set up eTIMS and KRA item codes.

  1. Open Products › KRA item codes

The counts at the top show the Products, how many are With a code and how many are Without a code.

Steps 2 to 4 on one screen.
KRA item codes at Baraka Wines and Spirits: 48 products, 47 with a code and 1 without. Under Products without a code, Party cups, pack of 50 is ticked (2), the code 52120000 Bedding, table and kitchen linen is chosen (3), and Give 1 the code is marked 4.KRA item codes at Baraka Wines and Spirits: 48 products, 47 with a code and 1 without. Under Products without a code, Party cups, pack of 50 is ticked (2), the code 52120000 Bedding, table and kitchen linen is chosen (3), and Give 1 the code is marked 4.
  2. Tick the products without a code

Products without a code lists them: “Choose them and give them a code together.”

  3. Choose the code

From the list in Choose a code: each code with its name, such as 52120000 Bedding, table and kitchen linen.

  4. Tap Give the code

The button counts what you ticked, such as Give 1 the code. Kila says 1 products updated, and once none is left, Every product has a code.

Under Codes by category, choose the code next to the category: “A product without its own code takes its category’s.” Kila saves it as you choose it and says Saved. Choose No code to take it off.

Codes by category: Ice and snacks given 50190000 Prepared and preserved foods (1).Codes by category: Ice and snacks given 50190000 Prepared and preserved foods (1).

A product that needs a different code from its category gets its own on its page: KRA item code, “eTIMS reports the product with this code.”

Good to know

“Kila’s starting list is a guide based on KRA’s classification. Check each code against KRA’s published list or your eTIMS integrator before going live.” Under Rules, an owner or administrator can type Your own list of codes: “One a line: the code, a comma, then its name. Empty: Kila’s starting list.”

Kila shows:

The product was not saved

Give Ice bucket its KRA item classification code. eTIMS needs one on every product it reports.

Under Rules, Every product needs a code once eTIMS is connected is on: “A product without its own or its category’s code cannot be saved.” Choose the product’s KRA item code, or give its category a code, and save again.
