Your day

A learner leaves. Find their approved pass under Passes, check the adult’s ID against the list and let them out: Let a learner out on a pass.
A learner returns. Under Out now, tap Back beside them.
A visitor arrives. Tap Visitor in and note their name and ID number, why they came and whom they are seeing; sign them out when they leave: Sign a visitor in.

What you can do

Let learners out and back on their passes, with the adult collecting them.
Make a pass with New pass: find the learner by name, admission number, or a guardian’s name or phone. Kila says Pass approved once it is saved.
Sign a visitor in and out, and see who is on site.
See the learners, so you can check a child and who may collect them.

What needs a manager

A child going with someone who is not on their list. Only the head, the deputy or the manager can let a child go with someone who is not on the list. See Let a learner out on a pass.

No approval limits: anything that needs approval goes to someone else.

Common questions

A learner’s pass is not under Passes. Then it was never made. Make it with New pass, or ask the boarding master or the deputy head. A pass a parent asked for shows under Passes as Asked for until it is decided.

Does the guardian know the child is out? Their guardian gets a text when you let the learner out. SMS is in test mode until an SMS provider is connected: messages are kept in the message log and not delivered to phones.

What do N and V do? On a keyboard, N opens a new pass and V signs a visitor in.
