Step by step
Tag garments at the laundry counter
Take a laundry order in with a tap for each garment, so every piece gets its own numbered tag, then record the rail slot when the order is bagged.
At a laundry or dry cleaner, each garment is a piece with its own tag, so nothing gets lost between the counter, the machines and the rail. The laundry counter prices each piece from your garment price list as you tap it, and prints the customer’s ticket with a numbered tag for every piece.
Open the laundry counter
Open Laundry › Laundry counter. The page says “Tap a garment for each piece. E switches express.”
Choose the service
At the top, tap the service: Wash and fold, Wash and iron, Dry clean or Ironing only. Each garment shows its price for that service.
Tap a garment for each piece
Tap Shirt or blouse three times for three shirts. A garment the service does not cover shows the service it will get instead, such as wash and fold. For linen by the kilo, Kila asks you to weigh it: type the Weight and tap Add.
Mark each piece's colour
Under each piece in This order, tap its colour, such as White or Blue, so the tag and the piece can be matched.
Choose express, if the customer wants it
Switch on Express (same day), or press E. Kila adds the express charge to every piece, such as “Express (same day): +50%.”, and moves the ready time under This order.
Add the customer and tap Take in and print tags
Find the customer by phone or name, or tap New. Then tap Take in and print tags. Kila says Order taken in with the number, and the ticket prints with Tags: one barcode tag for each piece, numbered from the order, such as JOB-000182-1 to JOB-000182-4.
Take the payment now, or at collection
Kila asks Pay now for the order: “Paid now, it is used when the order is collected. Close this to take the money at collection.” Take the payment, or tap Cancel to take it when the customer collects.
Record the rail slot when it is bagged
When the order has been cleaned, checked and bagged, find it under Bagged and waiting: “Record the rail or shelf slot as each order is bagged; it shows when the customer collects.” Type the slot, such as Rail B-14, and tap Save. Kila says, for example, “JOB-000182 is on Rail B-14.”
When the customer collects, Kila shows where to fetch the order, such as On Rail B-14: “Fetch it from there.” See Hand a job over and take payment.
