Step by step
Pick and pack an order
Send a run's orders to picking, pick each pick list from its bins in the warehouse, and mark it packed. The order is then ready to go out.
An order waits under To pick until it goes to picking. Then Kila makes a pick list for it in the warehouse, with each line’s bin, sorted so the picker walks the shortest way. The storekeeper picks and packs it, and the order is Ready to load. The dispatcher sends orders to picking; the storekeeper picks them.
Choose the run's day
Open Routes and runs. On Runs, choose the day in Day. Each route shows its orders for that day in stop order, with the stage each has reached.
Tap Pick the run together
On the route’s card, tap Pick the run together: every order of the run still to pick goes to picking, each with its own pick list. Kila says how many, such as Embakasi and Imara Daima: 2 to pick, and which it left and why: “Left: SO-… (waiting for credit).” For one order at a time, tap Send to picking on the order desk instead.
Open the pick list
In the warehouse, open Warehouse › Picking: “Pick lists for transfers and orders, sorted by bin so pickers walk the shortest route. Pick, pack, then dispatch.” Under In progress, tap the pick list. It says which sale it is for and from which depot.
Pick each line
Each line shows its Bin, with the zone and how many are there, the product, and how many To pick. Pick them in that order and type what you picked under Picked, or tap Mark every line picked in full. Choose who picked it under Picker if it was not you.
Tap Save picks
Kila says Picks saved: “PK-… fully picked. Pack it next.” The list moves on to Picked.
Tap Packed
Once the goods are packed, tap Packed. Kila says Packed: “PK-… packed. Dispatch it when the vehicle is loaded.” On the order desk the order is now Ready. When the truck is loaded, tap Dispatch.
A pick list is not needed after all
