A package is visits paid for in advance: Sessions (four haircuts), an Allowance (hours or visits to draw down) or a Retainer, a monthly membership billed to the client’s account. Glow Studio sells the Barber card: 4 haircuts for KES 1,800 and the Gents’ membership: a cut every week for KES 1,700 a month.

  1. Open Packages

Go to Services › Packages. Each card shows what it covers, its price, what it saves against paying each time, how long it is valid and how much of it holders have used.

Good to know

The client’s card at the desk lists their packages with what is left and when each ends or renews. Packages ending soon show on the home page under Packages expiring this week.

A package covers one service: the Barber card covers a men’s haircut, not a skin fade. It also has to be active, not expired or used up. Charge the visit at the till instead.

The card runs out before the client has used it

“Whatever is still unused is recognised as service revenue on the expiry date”. Monthly memberships are billed again each month through Services › Recurring billing. The owner can run that by hand with Run expiry and billing.
