Your business

Transport

Cargo, full loads and trucks hired with their drivers, priced by the kg, the trip or the day, with trip sheets and proof of delivery.

A transport business moves loads for its customers: cargo by the kg or the full truck, and trucks hired with their drivers by the day. Kila books each trip, gives it a truck and a driver, and proves its delivery.

Kila sets a transport business up for trips rather than parcels:

  • An Operations menu that starts with Trips and trip sheets, then Scan parcels, Manifests, Exceptions and claims and Performance.
  • No cash on delivery and no hire cards on the home page, and the set-up step Proof of delivery and trip messages in place of the courier’s cash on delivery.

None of the demo businesses is set up as a transport business. Swift Haul Logistics, a courier, carries cargo and hires trucks out with their drivers the same way: see Book a trip and Dispatch a booking.

The main screen is Bookings and dispatch.

Rules it follows:

None. Kila's standard rules apply.
