Your business

Light manufacturing

A business that makes goods from materials in batches, such as soap, furniture parts or packaging. Kila runs it as production with Kila's standard rules.

A light manufacturer turns materials into finished goods in batches: soap and detergents, plastics, furniture parts, printed packaging. Kila runs it as a production business with no extra rules.

Nothing is added to the production screens. Each product has a recipe or parts list with its batch, good output, labour and overheads (Set up a recipe or parts list); each run is a production order that reserves and issues the materials and puts a costed batch into stock (Plan a production order). The lines and machines, their maintenance and the shift log are in the Make menu as for every production business.

No demo business runs as light manufacturing; Shamba Fresh Foods shows the same production screens.

The main screen is Production orders.

Rules it follows:

None. Kila's standard rules apply.
