“Every figure comes from recorded sales, payments, stock and journals. Open a report, filter it, print it or export it.” Each report answers one question, such as how each branch sold this month.

  1. Find the report

Go to Money › Reports. The reports are in groups: Sales, Stock, Customers and credit, Purchasing, Services, Finance and Shifts. Type in Find a report to search by name or by what it shows.

  2. Open it

Tap the report. Each one says in a line what it shows: Sales by branch is “Each branch side by side: sales, refunds and margin.”

Money, Reports at Mwangi Hardware, searched for branch (1): Sales by branch is marked 2, with Branch comparison next to it.Money, Reports at Mwangi Hardware, searched for branch (1): Sales by branch is marked 2, with Branch comparison next to it.
  3. Choose the dates

Tap 7 days, 30 days, This month, Last month, 90 days or This year, or Custom to type your own dates. Each report starts with the dates that suit it.

  4. Choose the branch

The report starts with All branches. Choose one branch to see only its figures. Someone who works at one branch, such as a branch manager, sees only that branch, with no branch to choose. Some reports also filter by Category or Cashier.

Sales by branch for 30 days (3) at all branches (4): net sales, branches selling and the top branch, a chart of net sales and gross profit for each branch, and the table. Export CSV is marked 5.Sales by branch for 30 days (3) at all branches (4): net sales, branches selling and the top branch, a chart of net sales and gross profit for each branch, and the table. Export CSV is marked 5.
  5. Export or print it

Tap Export CSV to save the figures as a file for Excel. Kila says Export ready, such as “4 rows saved as sales-by-branch-2026-10-01-to-2026-10-30.csv.” Print prints the report as you see it. Export in background “Runs on the server and leaves a CSV to download. Use it for long ranges.”

Branch comparison puts a period against another, branch by branch. Choose this period with the dates as above, then Compare with: Kila fills in the period before, such as last month for This month, and you can change both dates (6). The table shows This period, Compared period, the Change and Change % for each branch.

Branch comparison, an Advanced report, for this month compared with last month (6): net sales for both periods, the change, and each branch's figures side by side.Branch comparison, an Advanced report, for this month compared with last month (6): net sales for both periods, the change, and each branch's figures side by side.

Good to know

Reports marked Advanced, such as Branch comparison, come with Advanced reports. Each report notes how the trading day counts: “Trading days run 04:00 to 04:00 the next morning, so sales after midnight count for the evening before.”

Kila shows:

No figures for these filters

Widen the dates or choose another branch.

Nothing was recorded for those dates at that branch, such as a warehouse that does not sell. Choose more days or All branches.

Kila shows:
This report is not switched on for this business.

Tap it to see why: Not available for you yet, with See plan and modules. The owner switches features on under Administration › Plan and modules.

Your role may read reports but not export them. Point at the button and Kila says why: “Exporting needs the export reports permission.” Ask the owner or an administrator, or someone whose role exports reports.

Next: to have a report run by itself, schedule it.
