School
A school bills fees by the term from each class's fee structure, and runs its day on Kila: registers, marks and report cards, the gate, the sick bay, boarding and transport.
A primary, junior or secondary school, day or boarding. Kila keeps each learner’s fee account and school record, and gives each member of staff their own screen for the day.
What is special
Link to this section: What is specialSeen at Bright Minds Academy, a primary and junior school in Nakuru:
- Fees by the term. Each class has a fee structure for the term, with optional items such as transport, lunch, boarding and clubs; one billing raises every learner’s invoice. See Bill a term.
- The paybill and the admission number. A parent who pays with the admission number as the account reaches the learner by itself. See Place a paybill payment.
- Registers, marks and report cards, graded on the school’s scale, such as the CBC four-level rubric or the KNEC eight-level scale for the junior school. See Enter marks.
- Boarding houses and bus routes, with morning and evening roll calls. See Take a roll call.
- The gate and the sick bay. See Let a learner out on a pass and Record a sick bay visit.
