Step by step
Approve medicines for the till
When a dispensing assistant asks for a pharmacist, approve or refuse the medicines from Approvals on your phone, or sign in at their till.
Pharmacy-only and prescription medicines wait at the till for a pharmacist. When the dispensing assistant taps Ask a pharmacist, the request comes to you under Approvals, and their till goes on by itself as soon as you decide.
Open Approvals
Open Approvals from the menu or from the notification. Under Waiting for a decision, the request shows as Medicines for a pharmacist, with who asked and when, the branch, and each medicine with its quantity and schedule: “Tom Mboya Street: Loratadine 10mg tablets, 10 × 1 (P)”. Approvals says: “You see what your role can act on, at your branches.”
Tap Approve
Ask the assistant what you need to know first, then tap Approve. In Approve this request you can add a Note, “Kept with the decision in the audit log.”, and tap Approve.
The till goes on
The dispensing assistant’s till shows “Dr. Brian Otieno approved the medicines. Take payment.” and Approved by Dr. Brian Otieno. They take the payment as for any sale.
At the till, or on your own till

On your own till. When you ring the sale yourself, the payment says “You approve these as the pharmacist. It is recorded with the sale.” and the payment buttons are open at once.
You want to say no

You approved from away, and you are not on duty
