Step by step
Change pump prices
On the 14th, paste EPRA's maximum prices for the next cycle and Kila sets the pump prices for 00:01 on the 15th. You can also set a price yourself from any date and time.
EPRA publishes the maximum pump prices for each town every month, in force from the 15th. Kila keeps them, sets your pump prices for the new cycle from 00:01 on the 15th, and refuses a pump price above the maximum for your town. Every sale from that moment takes the new price.
Open Pump prices
In Kila’s menu, open Forecourt › Forecourt and choose the Pump prices tab. Pump prices now shows each fuel’s Price now and its Next change, “At Mlolongo station, per litre.” Below it, EPRA maximum prices: “Cycles start on the 15th at 00:01. Your town: Athi River. Pump prices above the maximum are refused.”
Check the cycle and leave Schedule ticked
Cycle starting is already the next cycle’s first day: “The 15th the prices take effect.” Leave Set the pump prices for the cycle (below the maximum by your margin) ticked so Kila sets the pump prices too.
Steps 2 to 4. Paste EPRA's table
Copy the table from EPRA’s notice and paste it under Paste EPRA’s table: “One town per line with super petrol, diesel and kerosene: Nairobi 226.96 227.76 219.85 (a header line naming the columns is fine).” Your own town’s line is the one that counts.
Tap Import
Kila says 1 town imported and “3 pump prices scheduled.” Each price is the maximum less your margin, set on the Settings tab under Pump prices and EPRA: Highway Petrol Station sells super petrol and diesel a shilling under the maximum, and kerosene at it.
Check the next change
Each fuel now shows its Next change, such as KES 185.21 from 15 Nov 2026, 00:01. Under Price changes, “Every change, who set it and from when. Each is in the audit log.”, the new prices wait as scheduled, noted “EPRA cycle from 2026-11-15 (Athi River, KES 1 below the maximum)”.
At 00:01 on the 15th the new prices come into force: like a price you set yourself, “They apply to every sale from that time.”
Set a price yourself
Link to this section: Set a price yourselfUnder Pump prices now, type the New price of a fuel, choose From (a date and time), Applies to (Every branch or the branch) and add a Note if you like, then tap Set prices. Kila says “Prices set. They apply to every sale from that time.” A price from a later date waits as scheduled.
The price is above EPRA’s maximum
Link to this section: The price is above EPRA’s maximumKila refuses a pump price above the maximum for your town. Type a price at or below it. Whether Kila refuses, warns or does not check is set on the Settings tab, under Above EPRA’s maximum.
A change was set by mistake
Link to this section: A change was set by mistakeTap Cancel beside the change under Price changes. Kila asks “Cancel this price change?”: the fuel “stays at its current price.” Tap Cancel the change: “Price change cancelled”. Only a change that has not started yet can be cancelled; after that, set a new price instead.
Needs a manager
Setting and cancelling pump prices needs the right to manage prices, which the owner and the station manager have. A forecourt supervisor sees the prices but cannot change them.
- Selling fuel: EPRA’s maximum prices and the other rules.
- Station manager: the price cycle in a station manager’s month.
- The Forecourt page: the other tabs.
Next: before the 15th, tell the attendants on the night shift: from 00:01 every sale is at the new price.
