Your role
Till supervisor
You run the tills on the floor. You watch the drawers, review shifts and counts, and approve the cashiers' discounts and refunds within your limits.
Kila describes the role as “Runs the tills on the floor: reviews shifts and counts, approves discounts and voids within limits. No prices, settings or purchasing.” It is one of the roles Kila offers shops.

“No prices, settings or purchasing”: a product’s price, the business’s settings and buying from suppliers are for other roles. A request above your limit stays in Approvals until someone whose limit covers it decides.
Common questions
Link to this section: Common questionsA cashier’s count is short. What do I do? If the cashier sent it for review, it waits in the Review queue. Open it and accept or dispute the difference: Review a shift.
Can I approve a discount above 15%? Not on your own: 15% is your limit. The request waits for someone whose limit covers it, such as the branch manager.
Where do I see which tills are open? On your home page, in Tills open and their takings. See the trading day at the bottom of the card opens the whole day: Check the trading day.
