Food production
A business that makes food from recipes, such as a bakery or a snack maker. Kila runs it as production with the Food safety rules, the HACCP records and pack labels.
A food producer, such as a bakery that bakes for shops or a maker of snacks, makes food in batches from recipes. Kila runs it as a production business with the Food safety rules on, so it starts with the same food records as a food processor.
What is special
Link to this section: What is special- The food records. HACCP is in the Make menu, and the home page has HACCP: readings and deviations today.
- Its own set-up steps add the HACCP plan, the pack labels with the net weight and the KEBS mark, and the intake checks for flour and raw materials (listed below).
- Recipes with yields. Each product’s recipe says what a batch takes and how many come out good: see Set up a recipe or parts list.
No demo business runs as food production; Shamba Fresh Foods, a food processor, shows the same food screens.
