Your business

Installation & maintenance

An installer works at its customers' sites, with crews on the day board, regular maintenance visits, the equipment it installed by serial number, and payment in stages.

An installer fits and looks after equipment at its customers’ homes and premises: solar systems, water heaters, pumps, air conditioning. Kila runs each survey, installation and service visit as a job at a site.

  • Work at a site comes first. In Take a job in, an installer sees Work at a site first: the Visit, the Site address, a Landmark or directions, the Contact on site, Access notes and the Scope of work.
  • The Day board: “Site visits by technician or crew.” Visits are booked for a crew, and the technician taps On my way and Arrived on their phone. See Tell the customer you are on the way.
  • Regular visits: “Contracts with customers for work every so many days.”
  • Equipment installed: “Every inverter, battery bank, water heater and pump the business has installed or looks after, by serial number, with the site, the customer, the warranties and every visit.”
  • Payment stages on a site job’s card: “Ask for a deposit, then progress and the balance, with any retention held to a date.”

The menu section is Sites: Day board, Front counter, Job board, My visits, Quality checks, Regular visits, Equipment installed, Parts desk, and the rest.

The main screen is Job board.
