Step by step
Give a job to a technician
Assign a job to the technician who will do it, from the job board, and see it appear on their own list of jobs.
A job taken in waits on the board with No technician until someone gives it to one. The technician then finds it on My jobs, in the order to work on, and clocks their time against it.
Find the job on the board
On the Job board, find the job, or type its number in “Search number, item, customer”. A job nobody has yet shows No technician, and the board counts them, such as 19 not assigned.
Open its menu and tap Assign a technician
Tap … on the job, then Assign a technician. The dialog Technician for the job opens.
Choose the technician
Each technician shows how busy they are, such as 4 open · 0 h left: their open jobs and the hours of labour left on them. Tap the one who will do it.
Tap Save
Kila says Assigned, such as “JOB-000097 assigned to Dennis Otieno.”, and the job shows the technician’s name. They get a notification: “JOB-000097 assigned to you”.
The technician sees it on My jobs
On their phone, the job is on My jobs with what needs doing, the customer’s complaint and the parts it needs, and Start to start the clock.
You can also choose the technician on the job card, under Technician.
