Laundry & dry-cleaning
A laundry takes orders in a tap per garment, tags every piece, prices it from the garment price list and hands each bagged order back from its rail slot.
A laundry or dry cleaner takes garments, bedding and linen in at the counter, cleans them in its plant and hands them back. Kila runs each customer’s basket as an order with a numbered tag for every piece, so nothing is lost between the counter, the machines and the rail.
What is special
Link to this section: What is special- The laundry counter: “Tap a garment for each piece.” Each garment is priced from your garment price list for the service chosen (Wash and fold, Wash and iron, Dry clean or Ironing only), linen by the kilo is weighed, and Express adds its surcharge. See Tag garments at the laundry counter.
- A tag for every piece, printed with the customer’s ticket.
- The rail slot: each bagged order is recorded on its rail or shelf, and Kila shows it when the customer collects.
- Its own words: orders, items and attendants. The menu section is Laundry: Laundry counter, Collections and calls, Orders board, Uncollected items, Follow-up calls, and Garment prices and checks.
A laundry’s home page leaves out the cards for parts and technicians, and its set-up list has no labour rates or technicians, but adds Garment price list and express service.
