Features
Service packages
Sell services in advance, such as ten sessions or a monthly retainer, and bill memberships and plans every period, with the books kept honest about money not yet earned.
Steps differ for General businesses.
Service packages let you sell work in advance: a salon sells ten blow-dries, a gym a monthly plan, a garage twenty hours of maintenance, a firm a monthly retainer. The customer pays once, or is billed every period, and the money is held as unearned revenue until the service is delivered, so your profit is not overstated.

On Recurring billing, Kila says: “Reminders are kept in the message log (SMS test mode) until an SMS gateway is connected.” Invoices carry eTIMS test numbers: see eTIMS. Until Kila’s M-Pesa connection is live, Kila sends no prompt: Recurring billing says M-Pesa prompts are not set up, with the reason, and the history says “M-Pesa prompt not sent”. See Take M-Pesa.
