Close the night and check last night
At closing, a floor supervisor clears each waiter once their bills are settled or handed over. In the morning, End of day shows last night on one page, with every till's cash-up.
Each cashier closes their own till by counting the drawer: see Close a shift. Waiters have no drawer, so a floor supervisor clears them instead, and in the morning End of day puts the night on one page.
At closing: clear each waiter

Under Kitchen and floor › Waiter clearance: “Each waiter’s day: bills to hand over, what they sold and how it was paid, tips. Clear them when nothing is open.” Open shows the bills each still has, such as 1 · KES 100.
Hand over what is still open
Tap Hand over on the waiter’s row. Kila asks, for example, Hand over Kevin Ouma’s bills: “1 open, KES 100.00. They stay where they are; the other person takes them on.” Choose who takes them and tap Hand over. Kila says 1 bill handed to Brian Kiprono, and Open says None.
Tap Clear, and type the cash tips
Kila shows how many bills the waiter had paid, what they came to and the tips on them. Under Cash tips declared, type the cash they were given in hand: “Cash the guests gave them in hand, for the tip share-out.”
Tap Clear and print
Kila says Kevin Ouma cleared and prints the slip. The row says Cleared, with the time and your name.
In the morning: read last night

Good to know
While the day is still trading, End of day says so: “The trading day is still running: these are the figures so far.” The owner’s home page has the night too, on the card Last night: sales, covers, cash-ups and the log, with the Cash-up difference and the Voids and comps.
