Suggest a price
When a price that meets the owner's minimum margin is more than your customers will pay, suggest the price the market will take. An owner decides.
You see your branch’s customers every day: when the owner’s minimum margin asks for a price they will not pay, say so. Kila puts it in front of the owner with your reason, and tells you what they decide.
Before you start

Open Products › Suggest prices
“Products selling below the minimum margin the owner set. Suggest the price the market will take; an owner approves it and the till charges it from then on.” Below the minimum lists the products at your branch: what each Sells at, and the price that Meets the 15% minimum at. If your role sees costs, the cost and margin show too.
Tap Suggest a price
Kila opens Suggest a price for the product, with today’s price and the one that meets the minimum: “Sells at KES 1,950.00 now. KES 1,966 or more meets the 15% minimum.”
Type your price
“Whole shillings, VAT included: what you think customers here will pay.” Kila tells you at once whether it meets the minimum. Below it, Kila says so and adds “You can still suggest it; say why below.”
Steps 3 to 6 on one screen. Say why this price
In Why this price?, say what you see at the counter, such as “Customers at Yaya Centre put it back above KES 1,960. Naivas next door sells it at KES 1,949.”
Say where you saw the price
Where did you see this price? is optional, and helps the owner check it.
Tap Send to the owner
It stays grey until there is a price and a reason. Kila says Sent to the owner: “Kingsgate Blended Whisky 750ml at KES 1,960. You will be told when an owner decides.” The row now says You suggested KES 1,960.
Follow it under My suggestions
Your suggestion shows Waiting for an owner until the owner decides. Then it shows the price they approved, or Not approved with their reason.
