Construction & contracting
A contractor runs each project as jobs at the customer's site, with materials from its store, crews on the day board and payment in stages.
A contractor builds, renovates and repairs at its customers’ sites. Kila runs the work as jobs at a site, with the materials it uses and the crews that do it.
What is special
Link to this section: What is specialKila gives a contractor a Sites menu section: Day board, Job board, My sites (each fundi’s own), Quality checks, Regular visits, the Materials desk, Front counter, Labour rates and operations, Follow-up calls, Technician efficiency and Workshop settings. Its words are jobs, materials and fundis, and its set-up list adds Regular site visits. A Site supervisor leads the crews and checks the work with the customer before hand-over. Jobs at a site can be paid in stages, with a retention held to a date.
There is no demo contractor. Site visits and payment stages work as they do at the demo installer, Jua Power Solar: see Tell the customer you are on the way.
