Your role

Advocate

Your work as an advocate at a law firm: your matters, your time, the court diary, documents and client money requests, and what waits for a partner.

Kila describes the role: “Works on the matters on their team: logs time and expenses, keeps their diary, documents and client money requests. Payments out wait for a partner.” At Wanjiru & Otieno Advocates, the associates (Brian Kiplagat, Cynthia Achieng and Peter Omondi) have this role.

Kila opens My dashboard, with your Overdue tasks, what is Due today, what is To sign off, the Deadlines to verify and the Approvals waiting. Below are Sent up to you, Court this week (“Your court dates, today first”) and your Deadlines.

Brian Kiplagat's dashboard: My dashboard in the menu (1), his greeting (2), his counts, the work sent up to him, his court dates this week and his deadlines.Brian Kiplagat's dashboard: My dashboard in the menu (1), his greeting (2), his counts, the work sent up to him, his court dates this week and his deadlines.

Your menu has My work (with Approvals, Time and Inbox), Practice (Matters, Clients, Intake, Litigation, Documents, Knowledge and the AI assistant), Practice areas and Client money. It has no Billing: partners draft the fee notes from your time, and billing issues them.
