How it works
The school day screens
Each person at a school or daycare starts on their own screen after signing in, with the day's work on it: My day, School today, the Fees office, Gate and passes, Check-in or Admissions.
At a school, people do not start on the home page. Kila opens each person’s own screen, under Today in the menu, with what they need to do now. The owner, the accountant and the auditor start on the home page.

My day is made for a phone: the term and the week, the school’s next events, then what the person has to do today.
- Registers and roll calls: each one to take today, with Take it until it is taken. See Take the register.
- Mark sheets open: the sheets for open exams, with the due date and how many marks are in. See Enter marks.
- My class, for a class teacher: Absent today:, anyone away three school days or more, the report card comments to write, and Message the class’s parents.
A matron also sees passes and the sick bay; the transport officer the bus runs.
School today

- Registers: every class, its class teacher, how many are absent, and whether it is taken.
- Absent today: each learner absent today, with their class.
- Marks: “Open exams, and the teachers still entering.” Remind sends those teachers a note; Kila says Reminded and how many teachers, and skips anyone already reminded today.
Below them: Report cards to sign, with Sign off, and Welfare and the gate: the sick bay’s visits with their outcome, never the complaint, and the learners out on passes and visitors on site.
