Dispense a repeat or an owing
Supply the next issue of a prescription on record, or medicine still owed from a part supply, without recording the prescription again.
A prescription with repeats, and medicine the patient is still owed, stay on the patient’s record. When they come back, choose them at the till: Kila dispenses on the prescription on record, so nobody types it in again. The pharmacist still approves.
Put the patient on the sale
Tap Add a customer (optional) and choose the patient.
Add the medicines and tap Charge
Add the medicines on the prescription, or their generics, and tap Charge.
For a repeat, choose it
At the top of the payment, under Repeat prescriptions, choose the prescription. Each one shows its number, its medicines and the repeats left, and when it is not due yet, the date it can be dispensed from, such as ”· 4 left · from 16 Nov 2026”. “Dispense a repeat on the prescription on record; the cart must hold its medicines (or their generics).”
For an owing, tick it
Under Owed from earlier part supplies, tick the medicine owed, such as “Human insulin 70/30, 10ml vial × 1.000 on RX-…”: “Supply it on this sale: add the medicine to the cart.”
Check there is no prescription to record
Kila says “Dispensed on the prescription on record: no new prescription is needed.” The prescription form is gone.
Get the approval and take the payment
The pharmacist approves as for any prescription medicine, and you take the payment: Sell a medicine that needs a pharmacist.
Where owings and repeats come from
Link to this section: Where owings and repeats come from- An owing starts on the first sale. When you supply less than was prescribed, type the full amount in Quantity prescribed: with two vials prescribed and one in the cart, Kila says “1.000 will be owed to the patient.”
- Repeats come from Repeats allowed on the prescription, and the days apart. “Repeats can be dispensed up to 3 days early: choose the repeat on the patient at the till.”
Pharmacy › On duty, refills and owings lists the Refills due in the next 5 days and what is Owed to patients: “Part supplies: the rest is supplied on a later sale (choose the owing on the patient at the till).” Tap Remind on a refill to send the patient an SMS.
Not available yet
SMS runs in test mode: Kila says “Reminder sent to … SMS runs in test mode until a provider is connected.” The reminder is recorded, but the patient does not receive a text yet. Call them instead.

Open one to see its medicines, the pharmacist, and its Issues and owings: the owed vial shows as “Owed: Human insulin 70/30, 10ml vial × 1.000 · supplied” with the date, and the first sale as ”× 1.000 of 2.000 prescribed”.
